Meet Dior Anderson; a 24 year old model residing in Encino, California. The moment I met Dior I was so taken by her grace and kindness. She has a contagious smile and is just as intelligent as she is gorgeous. I'm very excited to have her as our first 'Muse of the Month'! We had a blast shooting her in our brand new Her Tiny Teeth summer sunnies. Read our interview below and get to know this babe a little better~
N: Tell us a little about yourself! You’re super stylish and cute, what are some items you can’t live without?
D: I definitely can't live without high waisted shorts and a crop top haha. I just love the way they fit my body and I've always been a "sunny baby" as I like to call it, the warmer the weather the cuter the clothes ;]
N: Sunny Baby, I love that!! Do you have any style icons?
D: As far as style icons, I adore Jhene Aiko's hippie style mixed with Tayana Taylor's sporty style. Very chill like myself.
N: On our shoot you wore this amazing coral lipstick, what is your absolute favorite lippie?
D: About lipstick lol... I adore lipstick so I don't have a favorite one but I do have to get my hands on the "Heroine" by MA ! It's more on the purple side but dark at the same time. & I LOVE a red or black cherry lip! I also like to go for the bright tones as well because they never fail to make the outfit/skin pop!
N: Absolutely, you can't go wrong with a bold lip! On the subject of makeup, Zae and Sebastian (our photography/video team) told me that you don’t wear ANY foundation or face makeup!! I was blown away. You literally have the most beautiful skin I’ve ever seen, do you do anything special or are you naturally blessed?
D: You guys are too kind , thank you! Ever since I was little my mom would tell me to clean my face using rubbing alcohol to release the dirt and then to moisturize it using the Palmers Cocoa Butter cream. That can be found pretty much at any drugstore or Walmart. Recently I found the Palmers Cocoa Butter face wash at cvs and I'm in love!
N: I might need to hit up a drug store later, haha. Your modeling has been taking off lately! What has been your favorite shoot so far?
D: My favorite shoot has been with Zae Bear. We created a short fashion film titled "SMOKIN' HOT" and it came out super dope! The beat with the style of the film makes it very west coast just like me. It was nice to see me in motion and there was also some nice video stills he pulled.
N: That video KILLED me! You guys make such a great team. What else do you like to do?
D: I'm all about adventure. I enjoy things like snowboarding [my yearly stress reliever haha] and bummed that it only comes once a year but I'm always down to board! Anything outdoorsy. Jet skiing, inner tubing on the lake, wake boarding, dirt bike riding and I think I may be ready to sky dive!
N: Omg that's awesome! I'm way too chicken to sky dive. Any famous people you’d like to meet someday?
D: I would definitely like to meet Drake since he's my number one favorite artist. His music just does it for me any day. I can't forget about Terry Richardson. He's an amazing photographer and I love his plain but lively style that allows you to be yourself and just enjoy life in the photos.
N: Yessss, can't get enough of Drake. If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
D: A cheetah! They're so beautiful and the fastest land animal which reminds me "you can be ahead in life, just run for it".
N: What’s the first thing you notice about people?
D: I always look down at their shoes lol I love shoes so it catches my eye right away. I feel that shoes determine most of the style.
N: haha SAME. I feel like everyone has a ‘bucket list’. With that being said, is there anything you HAVE to do before you go?!
D: YES! I have to model on someone's runway in Milan and eat Crepes in Paris. Adventure wise, I would really like to go parasailing somewhere outside the US.
N: It's only a matter of time before you're strutting your stuff down that catwalk girl!! With social media I feel like people get to see a small part of your life, yet people feel like they kinda get to know through your posts. Is there anything you wish everyone knew about you?
D: I just want people to know that I really enjoy modeling as you can see, but this isn't a game for me. It's really a goal/dream that I'm trying to accomplish even more. I'm a freelance model without an agency so everything I book is through myself which can be hard at times but feels amazing each step. P.S. everyone likes to party here and there ;]
N: Any last words?!
D: It was a pleasure meeting you. You're so chill & kind, I love it. And let's not forget about your sunnies that I've always had an eye on! You really inspire me, so humble and a go getter!
